KYRSTEN RANDLES Certified Yoga Instructor
Kyrsten Randles, CYT, found yoga after being told that she could not run marathons anymore due to a stress fracture that would not heal. She never stretched before or after running and one Saturday morning a friend brought her to a rather vigorous level 2 vinyasa class. She came out sweaty, humbled and completely ecstatic. After having a metal rod inserted into her leg so that the fracture could heal, she found Ashtanga yoga, the beginning of an intensely personal transformation. She is honored to have studied several times with her favorite teachers Bhavani Maki and Tim Miller and looks forward to meeting Kino McGregor and David Swenson during the course of her 500 hour teacher training program. In her teaching, she also loves helping her students move with the flowing sequences of vinyasa and encourages them to be curious and ask questions. She considers her greatest strength the ability to fall out of a pose without hurting herself. After all, that’s what yoga is all about – learning to work through challenges faced both on and off the mat.
